Environmental health care is responsible for providing basic veterinary services to production and pet animals in the following municipalities: Enontekiö, Muonio, Kittilä and Sodankylä.
Veterinary care also includes combating and preventing animal diseases, control of the primary production of foodstuffs obtained from animals, and animal protection.
