Environmental health care

Environmental health care performs the statutory tasks of health supervision and veterinary care, i.e. the supervision, advice and inspection tasks required by the Health Protection, Food, Tobacco, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Animal Disease and Animal Protection Act.

The task of the environmental protection authority is to monitor and promote environmental protection in the municipality. Tasks can be such as to take care of the tasks stipulated or prescribed by law or pursuant to it, to take care of the planning and development of environmental protection, and to take care of the monitoring of the state of the environment as well as related surveys and studies.
