Youth card

Muonio municipality's youth services have been introduced to the Youth Card system on February 1, 2024. Every young person participating in the activities of the youth services (weekly social evenings, events, hobbies, camps, excursions, etc.) must have a Youth Card personal information form. The form is signed by the official guardian and the young person himself. With their signatures, both the guardian and the young person accept the issues that have come up in the forms.  The young person's information is collected in the personal data register owned by youth services, which is kept for three years. The information of the youth card personal information is used for nothing in the form appearing in the data protection notice, if not required.

In the events and all activities organized by the youth services, Finnish law, the Youth Act and general rules of order are followed. The activity is always completely drug-free. If the young person behaves in a way that violates the aforementioned rules or otherwise behaves inappropriately or offends others, the youth services personnel will always be in contact with the young person's guardian and, if necessary, the authorities. The personnel of the youth services have a reporting obligation set by law (Children's Protection Act 13.4.2007/417, §25) in situations that cause concern. Events organized by youth services may be subject to a fee (always mentioned separately in the advertisement) and for cancellations received after the last day of registration, we charge the full participation fee (cancellation free of charge only with a medical certificate).
