Multidisciplinary joint service promoting employment

Multidisciplinary joint service promoting employment (TYP) is a collaborative model in which the welfare area, the TE office and Kela together assess the service needs of the unemployed, plan appropriate service packages to promote employment, and are responsible for the progress and monitoring of employment . TYP activities are based on the Act on Multidisciplinary Joint Services Promoting Employment (1369/2014).

The Multidisciplinary joint service is intended for people who have been unemployed for at least a year and for young people (under 25 years old) who have been unemployed for more than six months, who, in addition to public TE services, need the services of a welfare area or Kela to support employment.

In the Multidisciplinary joint service, we find out what services you need to promote your employment and draw up a Multidisciplinary employment plan with you. The plan may include public employment services, social and health services, and rehabilitation services.

The TE- office, welfare area or Kela will direct you to become a customer of the joint service. You can inquire about the criteria for access to the service from your own official and initiate a referral to a Multidisciplinary joint service.
