Muonio's workshop

Welcome to Muonio's workshop!

The trainees of Muonio's workshop are young people and adults who need support to get a foothold in the education and labor market. Trainees are mainly guided to the workshop through TE- services, social services, investigative youth work or educational institutions.

The aim of the workshop is to support the trainee's ability to work and function, and to guide and strengthen the trainee to focus on working life, studies or other services that support him.

The workshop offers a work environment where you can work according to your own resources. The workshop can be placed in a work trial, rehabilitative work activity, wage-subsidized work or a support period related to studies.

In addition to workshop work, we offer:

•     job coaching and individual guidance
•     guidance regarding job search and studies
•     advice on housing and managing money and health matters
•     information about forms of support for employment (e.g. work trial, salary support)
•     fitness and exercise opportunities as well as recreational, cultural and hobby activities

The Muonio workshop has a transport, recycling and bicycle workshop. In addition, the workshop has a flea market and SER- recycling.

The workshop works closely with the Kemi-Torniolaakso educational municipality association Lappia. Trainees and students can complete studies at the workshop, as the learning environment of the workshop has been identified. Approval of studies takes place through the secondary school.
